You could best describe me as engaging, humorous, intelligent, active, compassionate, entrepreneurial and environmentally conscious. I'm not as engaged spiritually as many on this site, but I'm open to growth in that area with the right person. I have always preferred eastern over western philosophy. I do a radio show on an Ashland, OR community radio station. It's voluntary and helps to connect me with the community. It also streams online at: KSKQ.org. My show is "DJ Organic's Old Skool Rules". If you want to know more about me, Mondays from 2-4 pm(PT) is a great opportunity. Performing music, especially singing, harmonizing, writing and recording is also a passion. It is not only a creative endeavor, but a spiritual force for me. Currently pursuing a more sustainable living situation that will eventually be free from the grid with solar, wind and geothermal power. Very fortunate to have found and settled in a beautiful octagon on 12 acres southern Oregon(Gold Hill) in order to live closer and more in harmony with the earth. The Rogue River beckons with a short walk down to a sandy beach. Recently I adopted a rescue pup named Roxy. Dogs are so loving and unconditional in their affection and loyalty. Humans take note! Outdoor activities from hiking to biking to camping and water adventures keep the connection with this wonderful environment. Living near the Cascade mountains and exploring Oregon's many great rivers and lakes is a paradise found. Indoor activities including snuggling, stimulating conversation, entertaining friends, creating and sharing recipes in the kitchen. I am creative in the culinary arts, especially with vegan and raw foods dishes which is my primarily diet but I do eat fish on occasion. Independent film, especially documentaries, TV with shows that inform and educate as well as entertain, a wide range of music (rock/pop, jazz, r&b, cutting edge and world beat), comedy and astrology are all a part of my life. Traveling to exotic locales in the south Pacific, Thailand, India and Sri Lanka for business, as well as pleasure is essential for real growth.
