Advocate, community organizer, proud mother of two adult sons, singer/songwriter of folk and blues, who loves concerts, movies, animals, Barcelona FC, the Red Sox, getting out in the woods or on the water, tending my garden, working with others for justice, sitting quietly on a river bank, or reading a good book. I am working full time but hope to retire in a few years. I also sing in a band, but find time to go to concerts, hike or cross country ski, and visit new places. I have enjoyed traveling all my life and have been to many parts of the world and most of the U.S. I am honest and caring, and look for the same in those I love. My 34 year relationship ended last February with much pain and anger, but my ex and I have worked hard at healing and are now good friends. I am looking carefully now for the right person to rebuild and renew.I am hoping for a person who shares my passions for social justice, music and travel; who likes to laugh and dance, and who appreciates equally a lively discussion over a glass of red wine and a silent walk along the beach. Primarily, however, I look for someone I can love and respect, and who will return those feelings in kind.
